Using Business to Revitalize Communities

Ground Up Initiative is a community development/reinvestment project. They go into older communities and breathe life into them by buying empty buildings and setting up small businesses within those communities. The initiative’s multi-layered approach ensures people are not only being stood up to own and operate, but they actually are getting all of the training and the services that they need to be successful.

In this episode of Small Business Storytellers, Seth and Dexter talk about the city of Detroit and the transformation that is being seen as a result of this community revitalization.
